Overview
Occasionally a student who has been enrolled and is actively attending does not appear in Campus Ivy when you run a query, or appears with a yellow "Source is Missing" warning indicator. This article explains what these states mean and when to contact support.
"Source is Missing" Warning
This yellow warning indicator appears when Campus Ivy cannot identify the originating source for a student's enrollment record. In most cases, this does not prevent you from processing the student — you can typically proceed without receiving an error. However, the student may not appear in standard program-based queries until the source is resolved.
If you see this warning and the student is still processing normally, note it in your support ticket for the team to review. It does not require an urgent escalation on its own.
Student Not Appearing in a Campus Ivy Query
If a student's enrollment is active in your SIS but the student does not return results when you run a query in Campus Ivy for their current program, wait a few minutes and re-run the query. Campus Ivy has a brief sync delay after enrollment updates, and most records appear shortly after.
If the student still does not appear after 15 to 30 minutes, submit a ticket to fasupport@campusivy.com with:
- Student name and ID number
- Program name and start date
- The query you ran that did not return the student
Student Not Appearing in a Specific Location's View
If a student is enrolled at one location but your account only shows access to a different location, the student will not appear in your view. Verify with your admin that you have access to the correct location. If your access needs to be expanded, submit a new account access request referencing the locations you need.
