Issue
A student has an approved funding estimate and should be eligible for disbursement, but they are not appearing in the Ready to Pay (RTP) queue in Campus Ivy. The school cannot add the student to a batch.
Common Reasons a Student Is Not RTP
- Outstanding required documents: One or more documents on the student's required checklist are not yet marked as received and approved. The student will not reach RTP until all required documents are cleared.
- Missing or expired MPN: The student (or parent, for PLUS loans) has not completed a valid Master Promissory Note. See the related article on MPN errors for more detail.
- Entrance counseling not completed: First-time borrowers must complete federal loan entrance counseling before loans can be disbursed.
- SAP hold: The student is on a Satisfactory Academic Progress hold that has not been resolved or waived in Campus Ivy.
- ISIR not pushed or verified: The current ISIR has not been pushed to the student's financial aid record, or verification has not been cleared. See the verification article for more detail.
- Enrollment status not active: The student's Campus Ivy enrollment record is not set to an active status, which blocks disbursement.
Steps to Resolve
- Review the student's document checklist in Campus Ivy and confirm every required item is marked as approved, not just uploaded.
- Check whether a valid MPN is on file in COD and confirmed in Campus Ivy.
- Verify entrance counseling completion for first-time borrowers via StudentAid.gov.
- Check the student's enrollment status in Campus Ivy and confirm it reflects active attendance.
- If all of the above are satisfied and the student is still not RTP, submit a ticket to CI Fiscal with the student name, ID, FE number, and a description of what has been checked.
