Attendance by Enrollment Report

We’re introducing a new Attendance by Enrollment report to simplify state board reporting for Beauty & Wellness institutions.

What’s New
The new report provides cumulative attendance information by enrollment, including scheduled, attended, absent, make-up, and transfer hours, along with key enrollment dates such as Leave of Absence and Withdrawal. A new State License field has also been added to the Institution Profile, allowing each campus’s license number to appear on the report.

Why It Matters
Preparing state board submissions often requires collecting attendance information from multiple sources. This report centralizes required attendance data into a single report, helping institutions prepare state reporting more efficiently while improving consistency and reducing manual effort.

Who It Impacts

  • Beauty & Wellness Schools
  • Academic Operations
  • Compliance Teams

Action Required
Please contact Support to enable it for your institution.

00:03: This video demonstrates how to use the new attendance report designed to help

00:06: schools track student clock hours.

00:09: It covers filtering options and exporting data to meet state board requirements

00:13: efficiently.

00:16: In order to help schools with reporting on clock hours for student enrollments,

00:20: we have delivered a new report.

00:22: Under the analytics portal in student

00:24: reports and academics, you will find the attendance by enrollment report.

00:29: This will return the cumulative attendance details by enrollment within a specified

00:33: period to help align with state board regulatory requirements.

00:38: In the filter, choose your reporting period.

00:40: The report will filter on students who have attendance recorded during this date range

00:44: range.

00:59: You can then filter by campus, Status, Program of enrollment, academic year template,

01:05: start date, or expected graduation date.

01:07: Once applying the filters, the report will generate returning all students who meet

01:11: the filter criteria.

01:13: You can then see all of the total hours per enrollment based on the reporting

01:16: period.

01:18: If a student has multiple enrollments that fall within the reporting period, both

01:22: enrollments will be displayed, each row will calculate the hours for each enrollment

01:27: based on the reporting period.

01:31: This report can then be exported to Excel for easier reporting needs.

01:36: In addition to the new attendance by enrollment report, we are also introducing a

01:40: new State License field.

01:47: You can find this on the Institutional Profile under List Inventory within

01:51: Organization Settings.

01:53: This feature enables schools to include a state license number.

01:56: The field can be customized for each campus and is optional for use.

02:02: It will subsequently appear in the attendance by enrollment report under state

02:06: license.

02:08: In summary: what used to require running multiple reports and manual compiling is

02:13: now a single filtered report -- and one export!

Enrollment Level Status Filtering for Class Count Batch Registration

We’ve expanded scheduling flexibility by adding a new Enrollment Level Status filter to the Class Count Batch Registration process.

What’s New
When scheduling students through the Class Count Ratios report, users can now filter students by Enrollment Level Status before performing batch registration.

Only enrollment statuses configured as part of the Enrollment Summary section are available for selection.

Why It Matters
This enhancement gives academic teams greater control over which students are included in batch scheduling activities, making it easier to target the appropriate population while reducing manual filtering.

Who It Impacts

  • Registrars
  • Academic Operations
  • Scheduling teams

Action Required
No configuration is required.

Configurable Institutional SAP Checkpoints

We’ve expanded Institutional SAP by allowing schools to configure academic progress evaluations independently from Financial Aid SAP payment periods.

What’s New
Institutions can now define Institutional SAP checkpoints based on metrics that best support their academic policies, including:

  • Hours Attended
  • Hours Scheduled
  • Weeks Attended
  • Weeks Scheduled
  • Credits Attempted
  • Credits Completed
  • Financial Aid Payment Periods

Schools can configure checkpoint frequency along with required completion rate and GPA/GA thresholds. Evaluations automatically recalculate if attendance or grades are updated, and results are displayed within both the Institutional SAP Log and Institutional SAP Report.

Why It Matters
Institutions often evaluate academic progress differently than Financial Aid SAP requirements. This enhancement provides greater flexibility by allowing schools to establish Institutional SAP checkpoints that align with their own academic standards while maintaining automated evaluations and improved visibility into student progress.

Who It Impacts

  • Academic Departments
  • Registrars
  • Retention Teams

Action Required
Configuration is required within the Academic Year Template.

Additional Enhancements

Increased the Service Name field limit from 150 to 250 characters, improving compatibility with external systems and allowing longer service descriptions without manual abbreviations.
