Attendance & Clinical Management Release Notes - May 2026

This month, we're introducing new features that streamline group management and clinical scheduling. For Portico Attendance, administrators can now manage student groups in bulk through file upload, while Trajecsys users can now control when clinical shifts become visible to students with new publishing tools.

Attendance

Student Group Bulk Import Management

For Portico Attendance users: Add or remove students from groups in bulk — no more one-at-a-time updates

What Is It

Administrators can now upload a CSV or Excel file to add or remove students from student groups in bulk, directly from the Import tab.

Who It’s For

School administrators and operations staff managing student cohorts or groups.

Problem Solved

Manual, one-at-a-time group membership updates for large student populations.

Why It Matters

What used to require updating each student individually can now be done in a single upload — saving significant administrative time during cohort creation, program transitions, and any time group membership needs to change at scale.

Details:

  • Available under Management > Import > Enroll Users into Groups
  • Download a CSV template with the required fields: Student Email, Student Group Status, and Group ID
  • File validation runs before processing — errors are surfaced upfront so nothing is applied until the file is clean
  • A results summary displays after upload showing successful updates, failed records, and error reasons
  • Group ID is now visible on the Group card for easy reference when building upload files

Clinical Management (Trajecsys)

Clinical Shift Publishing & Unpublishing

For Trajecsys clinical management users, control exactly when students see their shift schedule — no more guessing if it’s ready.

What Is It

Program coordinators can now publish and unpublish clinical shifts directly from the shift record, controlling when a shift becomes visible to students on their calendar.

Who It’s For

Program coordinators and administrators who build and maintain clinical shift schedules.

Problem Solved

No way to hold a shift schedule until it’s finalized — students could see shifts before they were confirmed.

Why It Matters

Coordinators can now finalize a schedule behind the scenes before students ever see it, and pull it back if something changes mid-setup — so students only ever see a shift that’s been confirmed and is ready to act on.

Details:

  • Publish and unpublish are managed from the shift record
  • Unpublished shifts are visible to coordinators and administrators only — students will not see a shift until it has been published
  • Once published, the shift is available for faculty assignment and student self-registration
  • A new Published/Unpublished filter on the Shifts tab makes it easy to see the status of all shifts at a glance
  • A new Published column on the Shifts tab displays published status for each shift
